JEE Advanced 2025 Results: Rajit Gupta Tops, Devdutt Majhi Leads Girls
The results of the JEE (Advanced) 2025 examination, the gateway to admissions in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), were officially announced on Monday. This year, the examination was conducted by IIT Kanpur on May 18.
Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the overall topper, securing the first position in the Common Rank List (CRL) with an impressive score of 332 out of 360. He shares this score with Saksham Jindal, also from the IIT Delhi zone, who has secured the second rank.
In the female category, Devdutt Majhi from the IIT Kharagpur zone has topped with a remarkable score of 312, securing the 16th rank in the overall CRL. She has been declared the highest-scoring female candidate in this year's examination.
Majid Hussain from the IIT Bombay zone secured the third position overall with 330 marks. The zone has further strengthened its presence in the top 10 with Partha Vartak (327 marks) and Sahil Dev (321 marks) securing the 4th and 7th ranks respectively.
A total of 1,87,223 students had registered for JEE Advanced 2025, out of which 1,80,422 appeared for the examination. Among them, 1,39,085 were boys and 41,337 were girls. This year, 54,378 candidates qualified, including 9,404 girls.
The JEE Advanced examination is one of the most competitive entrance exams in India, paving the way for admission into various undergraduate engineering programs offered by the IITs.
