Konkan Railway Opens Bookings for Ganesh Chaturthi Travel Tomorrow

In a welcome announcement for devotees and travelers heading to Konkan for Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, Konkan Railway has confirmed that advance reservations for special and regular trains will begin tomorrow, June 23. This move is aimed at ensuring smooth travel for the thousands who journey from Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra to their native villages to celebrate the auspicious festival.

This year, Ganesh Chaturthi falls early on August 27, prompting an early rush of passengers toward the Konkan region. In light of this, Konkan Railway has made strategic changes to its monsoon timetable and announced the introduction of 250 Ganpati special trains, just like every year, to accommodate the surge in travel demand.
