Operation Sindoor: India Will Not Tolerate Nuclear Blackmail
In a stern warning to Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India will not bow to nuclear blackmail or threats. His statement comes in the wake of Operation Sindoor, a major military offensive launched by India in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
India's retaliatory strikes targeted and destroyed multiple terrorist camps operating within Pakistani territory. Following the operation, Pakistan launched counterattacks, which were effectively repelled by Indian forces. Addressing the nation for the first time since the operation, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that India’s patience must not be mistaken for weakness.
India on High Alert, Says PM
"The role Pakistan chooses in the coming days will be closely watched," Modi said. "All three branches of the Indian Armed Forces, along with the Border Security Force (BSF), remain on high alert."
He asserted that surgical and air strikes are now a cornerstone of India’s counter-terrorism strategy. “Any terrorist attack on India will be met with a befitting response. We will act on our own terms and take action wherever the roots of terrorism are found,” the Prime Minister warned.
No Tolerance for Nuclear Threats
Sending a clear message to Islamabad, Modi stated, “India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. Our response will be precise and decisive.”
He further noted that India will no longer distinguish between terrorist masterminds and the governments that provide them shelter. “A government that harbors terrorists will be held equally responsible,” he said.
Talks Limited to PoK and Terrorism
Reaffirming India’s firm stance on diplomacy with Pakistan, Modi said, “If there is to be any discussion with Pakistan, it will be only on two issues—Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and terrorism.”
Operation Sindoor is being viewed as a significant escalation in India’s proactive stance against cross-border terrorism, and Modi’s address signals a continued tough approach moving forward.
