Maharashtra Politics : After the demise of Ajit Pawar, political movements in the state have rapidly begun. Against this backdrop, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut strongly criticized the BJP. He indicated that it is not appropriate for power moves to begin during a period of mourning.

Sanjay Raut said that at such a sensitive time, the BJP always looks for political gain. 'The BJP is a party that takes advantage of any situation.' He also alleged that a similar incident occurred after the demise of Balasaheb Thackeray. “We have a lot to say, but it is appropriate to remain silent for now,” he clarified.

Speaking on Sunetra Pawar's swearing-in as Deputy Chief Minister, Raut said that this decision is entirely their party's. The Deputy Chief Minister's position became vacant due to an unfortunate incident, and it is up to the concerned party to decide what stance to take on it, he noted.
