A horrific accident occurred involving an Air India plane in Ahmedabad on the afternoon of June 12, 2025. The plane was carrying 230 passengers, 2 pilots, and 10 crew members. However, shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad airport, the plane crashed into a nearby medical college building, resulting in the tragic death of 270 people, including student doctors, according to reports.

This horrific accident shook the entire country. The accident was so severe that the bodies of the victims were burnt to ashes, and some remains were not even found, making identification difficult. However, DNA testing is being used to help identify the bodies for the families of the deceased.

Meanwhile, the crashed plane had 169 Indians, 53 British citizens, 7 Portuguese citizens, and one Canadian citizen. After the bodies of the British citizens were sent to London, their families had the deceased's DNA tested again, which revealed a shocking disclosure.

The DNA tests of as many as 12 deceased did not match, and it has come to light that the families of these 12 deceased were given the bodies of other individuals. Not only that, but the bodies of those who died in the accident have not yet reached their families. After it was revealed that the bodies were swapped, many families have reportedly canceled funeral ceremonies.
