The Mumbai Municipal Corporation is fully prepared for the Chhath Puja taking place today and tomorrow. Around 60 locations in Mumbai have been organized for Chhath Puja, with arrangements made for drinking water, lighting, toilets, changing rooms, tables, and traffic control for the devotees. Earlier, a preparatory meeting was held at the municipal headquarters in the presence of Minister Lodha and Amit Satam. Representatives of 55 Puja committees participated in it. Immediate action orders have been given to the officials as per the committee's suggestions. During the festival period, metro and BEST services will continue late into the night for the convenience of devotees.
Additionally, instructions have been given to deploy police security and install CCTV cameras for safety. The administration is prepared to ensure that the Chhath Puja festival is enjoyable and safe for Mumbaikars and North Indian brethren.
