Jejuri Accident : Horrific Crash Leaves 8 Dead on the Spot, Swift Car Rams Into Tempo

A terrible accident occurred on Tuesday evening on the Jejuri-Morgaon road, claiming the lives of eight people on the spot. A speeding Swift car lost control and collided head-on with a pickup tempo parked in front of a hotel, resulting in a devastating crash.

The incident took place around 7:15 PM near Shriram Hotel, located opposite the Kirloskar Company. At the time of the accident, materials were being unloaded from the tempo at the hotel. Suddenly, a Swift car traveling at high speed from Jejuri towards Indapur slammed directly into the tempo.

The impact of the collision was so severe that eight people lost their lives instantly. Among the deceased are the hotel owner, workers unloading the tempo, and some passengers from the car, including a woman.

In addition to the fatalities, five others — including two children, a woman, and two men — sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Police officials reached the spot soon after receiving information about the incident. They have begun a thorough investigation and stated that the identities of the deceased are still being confirmed. The accident also caused a temporary disruption in traffic on the route.

This tragic incident has once again highlighted the dangers of overspeeding and the importance of road safety awareness.
