Mumbai: Major Accident Averted After Planes Collide on Runway at Mumbai Airport

(Mumbai) A major accident was averted at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. It was observed that there was a collision of planes on the runway at Mumbai airport. The wings of planes from Air India and Indigo collided forcefully.

The Air India plane was taking pushback to go from Mumbai to Coimbatore. At the same time, an Indigo plane that had arrived from Hyderabad was moving towards parking after landing, during which the wings of these two planes collided strongly.

As soon as the incident was reported, the administration and crew members immediately rushed to control the situation and passengers were disembarked from the plane. For some time, there was an atmosphere of fear among the passengers. It is reported that no one was injured in this incident and arrangements were made for another plane for the passengers.
