Tata Group Pledges Rs 1 Crore Aid to Families After Air India Crash
Air India is in the news after the Ahmedabad plane crash on Thursday. Air India is owned by the Tata Group. After this accident, questions are being raised in the minds of people about the Tata Group's planes. 242 people were travelling in this accident in Ahmedabad, all the passengers are reported to have died. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has also been confirmed dead in this accident.
Air India's parent company, the Tata Group, has announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the families of those who died in the accident. The group has also said that it will bear the entire cost of treatment of those injured in the accident. Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran has said about the accident that they should be provided with all necessary care and assistance.
