Ajit Pawar Assures Development: "We Will Stand by You and Develop Satara Like Baramati"

A farmers' meeting was organized in Satara district in the presence of the state's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. In this program, local citizens and farmers were warmly welcomed. Other dignitaries were also felicitated on this occasion. Ajit Pawar expressed his views. Addressing the citizens and farmers present, he said firmly, "Currently, there are many problems in the country and the state. However, your and our rightful government is capable of resolving those problems," he said.

Ajit Pawar further said, "Whether it is the issue of agricultural water or drinking water, we stand by you. We will develop Satara district all-round like Baramati." On this occasion, he reviewed the progress made in the medical college, the completion of the stalled works in the Sainik School, the skywalk in Koyna Nagar and the beautification of Nehru Park. Substantial provisions have been made for the Ladki Bahin Scheme presented in the budget, and the free electricity scheme for farmers with agricultural pumps up to 3, 5 and 7.5 HP.

He informed that with the cooperation of the Prime Minister of the country, Hon. Narendra Modi and Union Minister Hon. Nitinji Gadkari, the National Highways, the new railway line, the Phaltan to Baramati line and the Metro projects are being implemented at a fast pace. "The state needs airports to increase investment and create employment. The state government will stand firmly by your side in any sector - industry, agriculture, education, health - if the need arises," Ajit Pawar expressed his confidence. Concluding the program, he said that the Nationalist Congress Party, which runs on the thoughts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, is always committed to the welfare of the people.
