In a horrific plane crash in Baramati, the state's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar passed away. Five other unfortunate deaths occurred in the crash. This incident has plunged the entire Maharashtra into mourning.

On Wednesday morning, a plane that had departed from Mumbai for election campaigning crashed into a nearby field instead of landing on the Baramati runway. The accident was so severe that an explosion occurred, resulting in the immediate death of all on board. The fire brigade promptly began rescue operations, but it was of no use. On Thursday, Ajit Pawar was cremated at Vidya Pratishthan, Baramati. Thousands of citizens, along with many national and state-level leaders, were present at the time.

After this incident, Sanjay Raut, a member of the Thackeray group, criticized the BJP over the condolence advertisements. Sanjay Raut posted his reaction on X, saying.

Sanjay Raut writes in a tweet, "BJP has done wonders! They gave full-page advertisements to pay tribute to Dada! What will that achieve? The real tribute to Ajit Dada would be for BJP, that is, P. Modi and Devendra Fadnavis, to withdraw the allegations of 70 thousand crores made against Ajit Pawar." After this statement, a political controversy has erupted again, and everyone is keen to see what response comes from BJP.
