The political atmosphere has heated up in the backdrop of the upcoming municipal elections due to the assurances given by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to the citizens at the 'Janata Darbar' held in Hadapsar. As the Guardian Minister of Pune, he promised to prioritize solving issues related to basic amenities such as water, drainage, roads, and electricity supply. During this time, a large number of complaints were registered by the citizens.

The 'Jansamvad' initiative has started from the Hadapsar Assembly constituency, and through this program, Ajit Pawar is directly interacting with the citizens. This initiative will be implemented across the state for the next year, with an event organized in one constituency every week. In the first Jansamvad held in Hadapsar, nearly three thousand complaints were registered.

During this time, citizens directly presented various issues such as water scarcity, healthcare services, transportation, electricity supply, and various difficulties in societies to the Deputy Chief Minister. In response, Pawar instructed immediate action on many complaints in the presence of the concerned officials.

The program was attended by local MLA Chetan Tupe Patil, Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram, District Collector Jitendra Dudi, along with senior officials and a large number of former corporators. Ajit Pawar assured that solving citizens' problems is the government's responsibility, stating, "As the Guardian Minister, we are committed to resolving Pune's issues."
