“Get Pregnant, Earn 10 Lakhs!” Fake 'Pregnant Job' Scam Exposed in Bihar

A bizarre and infuriating cyber fraud has been uncovered in Nawada district of Bihar. Some cyber criminals had started a fake scheme, playing with the emotions of childless couples. They gave this scheme an attractive name and showed people dreams of big earnings. These fraudsters were contacting people over the phone, falsely claiming that a special method could induce pregnancy and earn substantial money from it. Many who fell for this lure were paying money under the guise of registration.

Based on information received by the police, a raid was conducted on this fraud center operating in a village. During the operation, two people were taken into custody, one of whom is a minor. The investigation also revealed that women, along with men, were being drawn into this trap.

Mobile phones have been seized from the accused, and based on the information contained in them, the number of additional victims and the extent of the gang are being investigated. This incident has revealed new methods of cyber fraud, and citizens are urged to remain vigilant.
