How did the accident happen?
According to the information received, while the ST Corporation bus was traveling with passengers on the Dhule–Soygaon route, an Eicher truck coming at high speed from the opposite direction collided violently with the bus. The impact was so intense that the front part of the bus was literally crushed. After the accident, there was a great outcry among the passengers in the bus. Some passengers were seen lying in the fields, while many were trapped in the bus in a seriously injured state.

Traffic halted, police investigation underway
Due to this accident, traffic on the Parola–Bhadgaon road was halted for some time. After moving the accident-stricken bus and truck aside, traffic was restored. The police have registered a case of the accident and have started further investigation.
Question mark on passenger safety again
The poor condition of ST buses is not a new issue. Although the government promises to bring thousands of new buses on the road every year, passengers' lives are still at risk. The frequent accidents have raised serious questions about passenger safety.
