The Revenue Department took major action in the Khed area of Ratnagiri district for the illegal dumping of silt from the Jagbudi River in the dental college premises. In this, a fine of 6 lakh 93 thousand has been imposed on Arun Gangaram Kadam, the uncle of Minister of State for Home (Independent Charge) Yogesh Kadam. The silt approved for dumping in the fields was illegally dumped in the dental college premises.

The Revenue Department has investigated this irregularity and taken action. Anil Parab had made a revelation during the monsoon session.
