Sanjay Raut on Thackeray Brothers’ Alliance: “Curtain Will Rise at the Right Time”
With local body and municipal elections in Maharashtra fast approaching, political activity is gaining momentum across all parties. Amid this backdrop, speculation has been rife about a possible alliance between MNS chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray. Though formal talks between the two factions have yet to progress, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has made a significant statement that has reignited political chatter.
Responding to questions on the potential Thackeray brothers’ alliance, Raut said, “The curtain will rise at the right time.” He added that while discussions may not yet be public or conclusive, the idea of a reunion between the Thackeray brothers is not off the table.
“There is a positive stance from Uddhav Thackeray. His view is clear — if the people of Maharashtra truly desire this alliance, then there is no harm in trying this experiment,” Raut stated. He also suggested that Uddhav is open to what the people want and hinted that any developments will be revealed at the appropriate time.
While no official confirmation has come from either side regarding the alliance, Raut’s comments have added fuel to ongoing political speculation and set the stage for what could be a significant shift in Maharashtra’s political landscape.
