During the ongoing discussions in the state regarding Parth Pawar's Koregaon Park land scam, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today clarified his position, saying, “I have never done anything wrong in my life. Do not use my name to pressure anyone. I have not done anything wrong so far and will not do so in the future.” Pawar said, “Some incidents occurred in the meantime, and an investigation is underway. The facts will come to light within a month. I was also surprised to see how the document was prepared without paying a single rupee. The exact details will soon be revealed. But as soon as elections start, a series of allegations begin. We have been accused before, but nothing came of it. However, defamation does occur.”

My identity is defined by my work Ajit Pawar said, “We must respect the Constitution. If something is wrong, we can speak about it, but it is inappropriate to always bring up Baramati's name for political purposes. I have never done anything wrong, and I will not do so in the future.” Ajit Pawar firmly stated in the end, “There have been many ups and downs in politics, but I am satisfied. My identity is defined by my work, and I will take every step forward with an eye on the state.”

I am keeping an eye on Baramati as well as across the state

Meanwhile, speaking in the context of the elections, he said, “From Monday to Friday, we reviewed the state. We conducted a survey in Baramati. It was a tradition to fight on the Baramati front. But after I became active, it was decided to fight in the name of the party. Action can be taken if there is anti-party activity.” He further said, “After 9 years, 288 municipal council and panchayat elections are being held in Maharashtra. Against this backdrop, I am keeping an eye on Baramati as well as across the state. It is my responsibility to transform the city in the next five years.” He also provided clear guidance regarding the candidacy process: “Those who want to fill the form on my behalf should not fill it until Wednesday. On Thursday morning, I will personally conduct interviews. After that, we will hold a meeting to decide the direction of the campaign.”
