Every year, lakhs of devotees perform a foot yatra for the Ashadhi Wari of Pandharpur, amidst the sound of Tal-Mridunga and the chanting of Vithunama. With saffron flags hoisted, the palanquin ceremony of saints is celebrated from various parts of Maharashtra with devotion. This year, the palanquins of Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj will depart from Dehu and Alandi on 18th and 19th June 2025.

Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Marg (June 19 to July 4, 2025):

This palanquin will start from Alandi on June 19. After that, it will reach Bhawanipeth in Pune on June 20. After staying in Pune on June 21, it will proceed towards Saswad on the 22nd. It will stop at Shinde Chhatri for aarti and rest at Hadapsar. Later, it will stop at Saswad on June 23, Jejuri on June 24, Walhe on June 25, Lonand on June 26, Tardgaon on June 27, Phaltan on June 28, Barad on June 29, Natepute on June 30, Malshiras on July 1, Velapur on July 2, Bhandishegaon on July 3 and Wakhri on July 4.

Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg (June 18 to July 4, 2025):

The palanquin will depart from Dehu on June 18 and reach its first stop at Akurdi. On June 20, it will stop at Nanapeth, Pune and on June 21, it will stop at the Vitthal Temple in Khatunga for a day of darshan. It will reach Lonikarbhor on June 22, Yavat on June 23, Varvand on June 24, Udambadi Gawlachy on June 25, Barmati on June 26, Sansar on June 27, Nimgaon Ketki on June 28, Indapur on June 29, Sarati on June 30, Akluj on July 1, Borgaon Shripur on July 2, Pirachi Kuroli on July 3 and finally reach Wakhri on July 4.
