In a major move to facilitate the smooth travel of Warkaris during Ashadhi Wari 2025, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has announced a special bus service for pilgrims heading to Pandharpur on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. A total of 800 special buses will operate from July 2 to July 12, covering routes from five major ST divisions, with Beed district serving as a central transit point.

These buses will depart from Jalna, Jalgaon, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Buldhana, and Beed divisions. All routes are strategically planned to converge in Beed before heading to Pandharpur, one of the most significant pilgrimage destinations in Maharashtra. As in previous years, lakhs of devotees are expected to participate in the Wari through Dindis (pilgrim groups), and the ST Corporation is working to ensure safe and convenient travel for all.

MSRTC officials have confirmed that essential facilities such as drinking water, rest areas, and medical aid will be available at designated bus stops along the way. Ticket booking, schedules, and other travel information will be accessible both at bus depots and through online platforms.

In anticipation of fluctuating crowd sizes, ST officials have prepared to deploy additional buses as needed. Furthermore, extra staff and volunteers will be stationed at key points to manage operations, and coordination has been established with local police departments to maintain smooth traffic flow on all routes.

This special transport arrangement is expected to greatly ease the journey for Warkaris, reaffirming MSRTC’s commitment to supporting this spiritually significant event in the state.
