Important news is coming out for ATM users. There will be changes in ATM rules from May 1. It is being reported that from May 1, withdrawing money, counting and checking balance from another bank's ATM machine will now become expensive.

For withdrawing money from ATMs of other banks, 5 transactions are being provided free in metro cities and 3 in non-metro cities. Due to the increase in ATM charges, there are reports that ATM network operators and white label ATM companies are demanding an increase in interchange fees.

The RBI has approved this proposal of the National Payments Corporation of India, and now withdrawing money from another bank's ATM machine will become more expensive. If you withdraw money from an ATM, you will be charged Rs 19 instead of Rs 17, and the charge for checking your balance will be increased from Rs 7 to Rs 9.
