Central Railway has planned a unique project called ATM on Wheels. Through this, the facility of ATM will be available to the passengers travelling by train inside the train. The trial of this project has been successfully completed and Central Railway has installed the first ATM of Bank of Maharashtra on the Manmad-CSMT Panchavati Express. This ATM has been installed in the air-conditioned coach of the train and its trial has been successfully completed. Through this machine, the passengers will be able to withdraw money even while the train is running.

This initiative has been implemented in collaboration with the Bhusawal Division of Indian Railways and Bank of Maharashtra. There was a network problem for a while due to tunnels on the route between Igatpuri and Kasara. This caused difficulties in using the ATMs. However, after some time, the system started working smoothly. Bhusawal Divisional Railway Manager Iti Pandey said, "The results have been good. People will now be able to withdraw money while travelling. We will monitor the performance of the machines."
