VIDEO: Pune Gangster Nilesh Ghaiwal Attacked During Wrestling Event in Bhum
In a shocking incident, notorious Pune gangster Nilesh Ghaywal was attacked during a public wrestling tournament in Andarud village, located in Bhum taluka of Maharashtra’s Osmanabad district. The incident has sparked tension in the area, and an investigation is currently underway.
According to police sources, the attack occurred during a wrestling match featuring renowned wrestler Thapa, organized as part of the annual pilgrimage in honor of village deity Jagdamba Devi. The tournament had reportedly been organized under the supervision of Nilesh Ghaywal himself.
During the event, Ghaywal was meeting with participants and spectators when the attacker, alleged to be a wrestler from Jamkhed village in Ahilyanagar district, suddenly launched the assault. Witnesses say that Ghaywal’s aides retaliated immediately, attempting to beat up the assailant. However, the attacker managed to escape from the scene amidst the chaos.
The Vashi Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched a manhunt to identify and apprehend the suspect. While Ghaywal is believed to have escaped with minor injuries, the motive behind the attack remains unclear at this stage.
Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts, and further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
