Due to the Maha Elgar movement initiated by Prahar's founder and former minister Bacchu Kadu for demands such as loan waiver, clearing of land records, and various farmer interests, a tense atmosphere has developed in Nagpur. Considering the possibility of a large number of protesters entering the Civil Lines area, the administration has set up tight security around the Chief Minister's official residence in the Ramgiri area.

Walkers Street, which is usually bustling in the evening, has been completely closed to traffic. Barricades have been erected on all roads leading to Ramgiri to stop the movement of vehicles, and the area has taken on the appearance of a police camp. The police have increased security there as well, as they have received intelligence that protesters might head towards the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh headquarters (Mahal and Reshimbagh) area.

As a result of this arrangement, traffic coming from Wardha, Chandrapur, and Hyderabad has been significantly disrupted. Traffic is halted on the Butibori to Jamtha route, and farmer protesters have blocked the road near the MIHAN bridge. Farmer leaders Raju Shetti, Vijay Jawandhiya, former minister Mahadeo Jankar, and Ravikant Tupkar have participated in this protest. Bacchu Kadu is leading the march by driving a tractor himself, indicating that the farmers' struggle has reached a decisive stage. The state government is closely monitoring this situation, and the next few hours will be extremely important for Nagpur.
