When you talk about Mumbai's second lifeline, what comes to mind is the BEST bus. But now, the BEST conductor has been assaulted. The accused threatened, tore the conductor's khaki uniform and T-shirt, and assaulted him while hurling abuses.

What exactly is the case?

The complainant, a bus conductor, was performing his official duty when the incident occurred between 1 and 1:30 PM on Sunday at Vinay Hotel, Thakurdwar Road, Fanswadi. LT Marg police have filed a case against the accused, Rahul Chetan Kachhar, under sections 121 (1), 132, 115 (2), and 352 of the Indian Penal Code. The assaulted bus conductor's name is Keshav Lokhande. While on duty, the accused Rahul Kachhar threatened him, tore his khaki uniform and T-shirt, and assaulted him with abusive language. Late last night, the police registered a case and arrested the accused Rahul Kachhar. LT Marg police are conducting further investigations in this matter.
