Ladki Bahin Yojana : Big news about the beloved sister scheme, Eknath Shinde's word in the assembly
For families whose income is within two and a half lakh rupees, the state government has started the 'Ladki Bahin Yojana' for such poor families. Under this scheme, one and a half thousand rupees are deposited every month into the bank accounts of beneficiary women. This scheme was announced a few months before the assembly elections, and it was also revealed that the Mahayuti benefited greatly from this scheme. Once again, the Mahayuti government came to power in the state, while the Mahavikas Aghadi suffered a major setback. Meanwhile, during the assembly campaign, many leaders of the Mahayuti also announced an increase in the honorarium of this scheme, promising to give 2100 rupees if the government came to power in the state. However, no decision has been made on this yet.
Meanwhile, when this scheme was launched, certain conditions were imposed, and it has now come to light that women who are not eligible for this scheme are also availing its benefits. As a result, efforts to exclude such women from the scheme have gained momentum, and the names of many such women have been removed from the scheme. Furthermore, only eligible women should receive the benefits of this scheme, and to lighten the burden on the government's treasury, KYC has now been made mandatory for this scheme. Initially, a deadline of November 18 was given for KYC, and now this has been extended, with the deadline for KYC being December 31.
Meanwhile, as women's names are being excluded from this scheme, opponents are raising questions about it, and there is an attempt by the opposition to corner the government. The opposition is also alleging that this scheme will soon be shut down, causing confusion among beloved sisters about whether the scheme will really be closed. This has created fear. Now Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has dispelled this confusion, stating that this scheme will never be shut down. He was speaking at a campaign rally for the Palghar Municipal Council elections. Once again, Eknath Shinde has clarified that this scheme will not be shut down, providing relief to beloved sisters.
