After the shock of defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, the grand alliance made a significant leap in the state assembly elections, securing a clear majority. Meanwhile, the Mahavikas Aghadi stopped at only about 50 seats. With the grand alliance government completing one year in power, the statement made by BJP leader Mangalprabhat Lodha has become the center of discussion in political circles.

What exactly did Lodha say?

Lodha praised Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, saying, “Fadnavis has been appointed as Chief Minister for the third time. Starting as the youngest mayor in Maharashtra, he has achieved the honor of becoming Chief Minister three times, even when the party was not in a strong position.”

He further said, “BJP is a party that runs on its own strength; but many other political parties in the state also move according to Fadnavis's signals. He is our guide, and we have experienced his various roles.”

After Lodha's statement, a new political discussion has started in the state. “Whether BJP workers get a ticket or not, they enthusiastically get to work. That's why the party grew from two seats to 275. Winning the election in Mumbai is not the responsibility of a few leaders, it is the responsibility of all of us. No matter how handsome the neighbor's child is, we don't take him on our lap; we lift our own child.”
