BJP worker from Sawantwadi, Vijay Kenwadekar, has rejected all allegations made by Nilesh Rane and has made a serious accusation that an unauthorized search was conducted at his home. Holding a press conference, he presented the entire sequence of events. Kenwadekar said that Nilesh Rane came directly to his house without any prior notice, inspected the house, and even went into the bedroom. At that time, he was not at home; present in the house were his sister-in-law, wife, elderly mother, and nephew.

“This incident was completely condemnable and terror-inducing,” they alleged.

“Every single penny of my earnings is registered”

Regarding the disputed amount, Kenwadekar clarified that the money belongs to their registered business ‘KK Builders and Developers’.

They stated that they can prove all documents related to RERA registration, GST number, bank transactions, and construction work.

“If Nilesh Rane had called, I would have personally shown the house”

Kenwadekar said,

“Nilesh Rane has my phone number. If he had just called and informed, I would have personally shown him the house. But how right is it for strangers to barge into the house with cameras?”

Loyalty to BJP remains - Kenwadekar

We have been working in various positions in the BJP since 1990 and Kenwadekar made it clear that he will continue to remain loyal to the party.

“I am not a party-switcher or a selfish worker. No matter how much pressure is put on me, I will not leave the BJP.”

“Family in fear, health of 85-year-old mother deteriorated”

He said that because of this incident, the women in his house and his elderly mother suffered mental distress.

“My nephew was wandering the streets in fear. Is this the way a people's representative should behave?” he questioned.

Relations with politicians, memories of social work

He spoke about his old connections with BJP leaders Ravindra Chavan, Narayan Rane, and Ashish Shelar.

He claimed to have provided employment to 578 people through Konkan Railway Corporation, MSME Board, and other social work.

“Prepared to take legal action”

He also made it clear that he would take legal steps regarding unauthorized entry.

“I will not tolerate any act that will cause my 75-year-old family to lose its dignity,” he said.
