Cabinet Decision: Maharashtra Government take 7 major decisions
The Fadnavis government has taken 7 important decisions in the state cabinet meeting. The cabinet meeting was held today in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. In it, important decisions have been taken in the Home, Revenue, Urban Development and Law and Justice departments. The maximum 3 decisions have been taken in the Urban Development department, which is under the charge of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Meanwhile, provisions for the removal of mayors of municipal councils, municipal panchayats, and industrial towns by a majority vote have been approved in today's cabinet meeting.

Department of Law and Justice
Chikhloli - Civil Court Junior Level Judicial Magistrate First Class Court to be established at Ambernath, District Thane and posts approved accordingly
Home Department
Approval of the policy for providing compensation in cases of death in custody of a prisoner as per the directions of the National Human Rights Commission.
Urban Development Department
Approval of changes in the rules for transfer of immovable properties in Municipal Councils, Municipal Panchayats and Industrial Towns
Urban Development Department
Amendment to the Maharashtra Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayat and Industrial Town Act, 1965. Decision to implement the Abhay scheme for the collection of tax by partially waiving the penalty on property tax in the areas of Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayat and Industrial Town.
Urban Development Department
Amendments to the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Municipal Panchayats and Industrial Towns Act, 1965, approving the provisions for the removal of mayors of municipal councils, municipal panchayats and industrial towns by majority vote.
