The political atmosphere has heated up over the statement of AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi, with former MP Navneet Rana strongly criticizing Owaisi. A verbal war has erupted between the two over the controversial statement made about population growth. While on a tour of Amravati yesterday, Asaduddin Owaisi, responding to Navneet Rana's statement 'have four children', said, 'Not four, make it eight, what do we care?' Reacting sharply to Owaisi's statement, Navneet Rana directly targeted AIMIM and Owaisi.

Navneet Rana said, “In this country, what is democracy, what is the constitution, Owaisi should speak on this. To say that democracy is changing, but not to accept the constitution itself, this will not work.” She also accused Owaisi of not respecting the constitution despite being a member of parliament. Navneet Rana further said, “If one wants to live in this country, they must accept the constitution. If someone is not ready to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Mataram, then what do they consider this country to be, is the question.” She raised a question on Owaisi's patriotism.

Criticizing the MIM party, Navneet Rana said, “The election officials of MIM should cancel the recognition of this party. There is no place for such ideology in democracy.” She took a very aggressive stance and made a controversial statement that Owaisi's citizenship should be revoked and he should be sent to Pakistan. “Go there and have not ten but twenty children,” she taunted.

Navneet Rana accused Owaisi, saying, “We know very well what thoughts are running in your mind. You are a member of parliament, so speak about democracy and the constitution. But you do not accept the constitution, do not give slogans of patriotism, then how do you connect with this country?” Meanwhile, this entire incident is likely to further heat up the political atmosphere in the state, and signs of a major controversy arising from these statements in the coming times are visible.
