Bigg Announcement:Confirm ticket holders allow at Railway station
In view of the rush at railway stations, the Union Railway Minister has made an announcement. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has taken an important decision regarding railway passengers in Parliament. Often, during the festive season, the railway station is seen to be crowded. Often, overcrowding leads to stampedes, in which many are injured and even killed. However, to control all this, he said that only those with confirmed tickets will now be allowed to enter the railway station.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, "There will be permanent waiting areas at 60 railway stations across the country. Therefore, only those with confirmed reservation tickets will be allowed to enter here. Waiting list and unticketed passengers will have to wait in the outer waiting area i.e. the holding area itself. Unauthorised entrances will also be closed," the railway minister told the House.
"Similarly, keeping in view the safety of passengers at the stations, CCTVs will also be installed at railway stations. Also, 12-meter and 6-meter-long HBOs of the new design are being made. They will help in controlling the crowd," Ashwini Vaishnaw said.
