The campaign for the Pune Municipal Corporation elections ends today, with voting on January 15 and results to be announced on January 16. At the end of the campaign, the BJP held a large rally in Pune. In this rally, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis directly interacted with the citizens. The Chief Minister said that this election is not just limited to electing corporators, but it is also about determining the direction for Pune's future. He mentioned that in recent years, with the cooperation of the central government, extensive work is underway to transform the city.

He further said that the municipal elections are not meant to encourage hooliganism, but are elections that provide capable leadership to the city. Concrete plans have been made for water supply, sewage system, roads, and traffic. Decisions have been taken to curb uncontrolled construction in Pune, and the additional tax on citizens has also been canceled. He expressed confidence that the state government will fully support the development of Shivajinagar.

They also clarified that the identity of Pune will change due to the Mula-Mutha river improvement, rapid transport system, and underground roads. They also mentioned that the beloved sister scheme will continue and the government's resolve is to economically empower women. Stating that the city, state, and center should have a government of the same ideology, they appealed to the people of Pune to support the BJP.
