The temperature is expected to drop from 13 degrees Celsius to as low as 6 degrees Celsius, and severe cold will be felt in the morning and evening. Due to the cold waves coming from North India, the cold shadow over Maharashtra will become more intense. Notably, there are signs of a strong impact of these waves in some parts of the state today and tomorrow, Monday.

Due to the cool waves flowing from north to south, there are indications of a rapid drop in temperature. Today and tomorrow (Monday), the effect of the cool waves may be felt more prominently in some parts of the state. In Mumbai, the cold will increase significantly in the morning and evening, and the chill in the air will become more intense. A record drop in mercury is also predicted in Pune, Nashik, Vidarbha, Marathwada, and Khandesh.
