The government has launched the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme for women from poor families whose annual income is less than two and a half lakh. Under this scheme, one and a half thousand rupees are deposited into the bank accounts of beneficiary women. 'Ladki Bahin' is an ambitious government scheme. Meanwhile, a major update regarding this scheme has come forward. That is, only eight days are left for the month of November to end, so when will the money for November be deposited in the bank account? All eligible women beneficiaries are eagerly waiting for this. However, due to the ongoing local self-government elections in the state, the code of conduct is in effect.

Double Gift for Beloved Sisters

There was an atmosphere of concern as beloved sisters had not yet received the money for November, and with the announcement of the local self-government elections, the code of conduct has also started. Many questions were swirling in the minds of women about when the November money would be received, whether it would be received now or not. But now there is no reason to worry. Information has emerged that the election code of conduct will not affect the installments received under the 'My Beloved Sister' scheme. Additionally, before the local self-government elections, the 'beloved sisters' in Maharashtra will receive a double gift. The administration has given the green signal. Accordingly, if the November installment is delayed, there is a possibility that the beloved sisters will be given 3000 rupees together for both November and December. Therefore, the likelihood of beloved sisters receiving a 'double gift' next month has increased.

E-KYC Mandatory

But to receive the installment and money from the Ladki Bahin scheme, it is now mandatory to complete eKYC. If this process is not completed, the money may be withheld. Women who have benefited from this scheme so far will not receive the benefits if eKYC is not completed. The announcement for e-KYC was made in September, and a deadline was set for November 18. However, the e-KYC of millions of women was not completed by then, as it was delayed due to various reasons. Therefore, the deadline has now been extended, and eligible women must complete this process by December 31, 2025. If the process is not completed by then, women will not receive the benefits of the Ladki Bahin scheme.
