In the film Nayak, just as Anil Kapoor becomes the Chief Minister for a day, if you were made a director for a day and the film's name was Maharashtra, what would be the first scene you direct? Akshay Kumar asked Fadnavis this question. To which Fadnavis gave an answer that would make the entire Maharashtra proud. He said, “If a film is being made on Maharashtra, the first scene would be Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj... ascending the throne for the coronation and after so many years of slavery, the creation of Swarajya once again would be the first scene of that film...” Fadnavis gave this answer to Akshay's question.
Fadnavis Reveals a New Way to Eat Oranges
A few years ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was asked how he likes to eat mangoes. At that time, Akshay Kumar was heavily trolled for this question. However, today Akshay asked Fadnavis, since you are from Nagpur, I want to ask you how you like to eat oranges...? Upon hearing the question, Fadnavis couldn't contain his laughter. So, he laughed heartily at first.
Then, while answering Akshay's question, Fadnavis told player Akshay a new way to eat oranges. He said, "I'll tell you a new method... You know oranges, without peeling them, cut them into two parts, don't peel them at all... and eat them with salt... just like you eat a mango, eat the orange like that... you'll really get a different feeling while eating oranges... Fadnavis told Akshay that this method is known only to the people of Nagpur.

Anil Kapoor becomes a chief minister for a day and does so much work in a day that wherever I go, people tell me to work like 'Nayak'... how much he did in one day... how he changed everything in just one day... said Fadnavis.
When I watch a movie, I become an ordinary person
A movie captivates you or teaches you something, it influences your emotions and mind... Many films have influenced me, and among them, 'Nayak' is at the forefront. Once, when I met Anil Kapoor, I told him, why did you make Nayak? You are the 'Nayak' and we are the 'Nalayak'... How did you do so many things in just one day? I feel that he set a benchmark, Fadnavis also said. After watching the film, I become an ordinary person... which I have been for many years...”, Fadnavis also said.
