The Chief Minister's My Beloved Sister scheme has been well-received by the women in the state. To ensure transparency in this scheme and to provide regular financial benefits to the beneficiary women, an e-KYC facility has been made available. It has been revealed that many have embezzled money through unauthorized means. It is being said that action will now be taken against them.

It has come to light that government employees have also taken advantage of the ambitious 'Chief Minister's Beloved Sister Scheme' of the grand alliance government. Ministry sources have informed that action will be taken against those found guilty. There is a possibility of recovering the amount and withholding salary increments. The November installment of the Beloved Sister Scheme will soon be deposited into the accounts of eligible women. An amount of 1500 rupees will be deposited by the end of the month, and more than 2.5 crore women in the state have benefited from this scheme. Currently

It has been revealed that 5,000 government employees, 3,000 teachers, some district council employees, and some police officers in the state have also taken advantage of the scheme. This benefit, taken by bypassing the rules of eligibility, is considered serious, and the administration has started preparing for strict action against those involved.

e-KYC process rapidly underway

The e-KYC process for beneficiaries is rapidly underway. However, many shocking facts have emerged during this process, causing a stir in the administration. It was previously revealed that government employees and some men had misused the scheme. Now, these suspicions have become more clear during the e-KYC process.

Government Employees Also Beneficiaries

Sources have informed that a decision to take action against ineligible beneficiaries and recover the amount will be announced soon after the completion of the e-KYC process. While the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme is meant for economically weaker women, the fact that benefits have also reached government employees and men has posed a challenge for the state government.
