Hema Malini paid tribute to Dharmendra by posting on X. In the post, she shared some old photos with Dharmendra and wrote, "Dharamji, you meant so much to me — a loving husband, father to our daughter, a friend, guide, and philosopher. We spent many good and bad moments together. His simple life and friendly nature won a place in everyone's hearts."

Expressing this void in her life, Hema Malini said, "Dharmendra's demise has created a huge empty space in my life, which will never be filled."
