The pleasant cold that has been felt in the state for the past few days is now gradually decreasing, and the onset of summer is becoming evident. Although there is some chill in the morning, the intensity of heat is seen increasing by noon. According to the weather department's forecast, there is a possibility of an increase in the state's minimum temperature from today, the 11th. As a result, the impact of the cold will further diminish.

Along with this, there is a continuous increase in the maximum temperature, and it is predicted that the heat will persist. Currently, the maximum temperature in many parts of the state is recorded between 32 to 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is around 23 to 25 degrees Celsius. It is predicted that this heatwave is likely to intensify in the coming days. In the Konkan region, including Mumbai, the cold has almost completely disappeared. The morning chill is decreasing, and the heat is quite noticeable in the afternoon. The weather is expected to remain dry and clear, and the intensity of the sun's heat will gradually increase.

Meanwhile, the Central Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for some states in Central and Northern India. Light rain is expected in parts of Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana in the next 48 hours. Therefore, local weather changes may be observed.

It has also been warned that sudden temperature fluctuations may affect people's health. Complaints such as heatstroke and dehydration may increase. Therefore, it is necessary for citizens to drink enough water, take necessary precautions when going out in the sun, and wear light, loose clothing. Overall, the onset of summer in Maharashtra is now considered certain, and the intensity of the heat is likely to increase further in the coming days.
