A sudden severe fire broke out around 12 noon today in Sai Smriti Society in Gorai, Borivali West, Mumbai. A decorative warehouse was built in the society. The warehouse was reduced to ashes due to the fire.

The cause of the fire is not known. As soon as the information about the fire was received, 10 fire brigade vehicles immediately reached the spot and firefighting efforts are underway at a war footing. There are reports of some people trapped in the warehouse. Rescue operations by fire brigade officials are ongoing.
