Former MLA R.T. Deshmukh Passes Away in Tragic Accident near Belkund
In a tragic incident, former MLA R.T. Jija Deshmukh, a prominent leader from Parli taluka and the former BJP MLA from Majalgaon constituency, died in a horrific road accident. The accident took place near Dharashiv village in Belkund district on the Latur-Tuljapur-Solapur road while he was traveling by car.
Following the tragic event, Deshmukh was cremated today, with several senior political leaders and dignitaries attending the funeral to pay their final respects. Minister Pankaja Munde, MP Bajrang Sonawane, Osmanabad MP Omraje Nimbalkar, and MLA Rajesh Vitekar were among those present. They praised Deshmukh's lifelong contributions to public service and expressed deep sorrow over his sudden demise.

Deshmukh had a distinguished career, having served as a Zilla Parishad member, office bearer in various organizations, and the district president of the Bharatiya Janata Party for many years. He also served as a director in the Vaidyanath Cooperative Factory from its inception, contributing significantly to the cooperative sector.
