Aadhaar Card : From this December, 'these' changes will be seen regarding Aadhaar Card
Currently, in many places, the Aadhaar card is used as proof of identity. Whether it is a college or a bank, the Aadhaar card is requested to verify the address. If you want to make any changes to the Aadhaar card, you have to visit the Aadhaar center. The Aadhaar card records a person's date of birth, address, father's name, and other information. A major change is being made to prevent misuse of the Aadhaar card. UIDAI chief Bhuvnesh Kumar has commented on this in an online conference. Now the Aadhaar Card will come with a photo and QR code. These rules will be implemented from this December.
The current 12 digits in the Aadhaar card provide your information. If someone takes a photo of your card and misuses these digits, it poses a risk. Your personal information can be stolen. A new rule is going to be implemented to ensure citizens' information remains secure. According to this new rule, the Aadhaar card will now only contain a photo and a QR code. As per the new Aadhaar rule, no one will be allowed to store Aadhaar numbers and biometric information for offline verification. This is an important decision for the security of citizens' information.
These changes will be seen in the new Aadhaar card
The new Aadhaar card will now only display the photo and QR code
Name, address, date of birth, and the 12-digit Aadhaar number will not be visible
All information will be securely stored in the related QR card
Offline verification will be easier and data theft will be prevented
UIDAI's new app to be launched
UIDAI is also preparing to launch a new app. In this mobile app, more care will be taken from a security perspective. The app will have modern features such as QR code scanning and facial recognition. According to the new rules coming into effect in December, preparations are being made to reduce offline verification of Aadhaar cards. Especially in hotels and at certain events, Aadhaar cards are requested. At such times, there is always a fear of data leakage. Until the online verification process of the Aadhaar card is completed, the individual's information will remain confidential.
