Ranjeetsingh Nimbalkar: The act of milk ablution and warding off evil! Giving a straightforward response to allegations in the doctor suicide case, Narco Challenge
The suicide case of a doctor in Phaltan has caused political turmoil in Maharashtra, with serious allegations made against former MP Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar. In this battle of accusations and counter-accusations, Nimbalkar's public meeting held in Phaltan today was filled with emotional and dramatic moments. A large number of women were seen attending the meeting. These women symbolically supported Nimbalkar by pouring water on his feet, performing an evil eye ritual, and conducting a milk ablution. This scene made Nimbalkar emotional for a moment, and his tears further heightened the emotional atmosphere in the hall.
In the meeting, Nimbalkar directly responded to the allegations, claiming they were orchestrated with collusion. “The allegations against me have been made on the mastermind's signal. I am ready for a narco test. Those who accuse me should show the same courage. Otherwise, they should publicly admit that they lied,” he challenged Ramraje Nimbalkar. “I would have been fine if I had been shot, but why such defamation?” he asked emotionally at this time.
While clarifying his position, Nimbalkar stated that his aim is not revenge but to bring about change. “60% of the people in the taluka are with me,” he claimed. Indirectly criticizing a member of the Legislative Council, he said, “The taluka has been defamed because of one MLA. You can threaten a lion, but you cannot scare it.” Referring to his meeting with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he said, “I met him for the soil, did not ask for anything personal.”
Regarding the medical examination of a witness in the doctor case, he directly questioned Health Officer Sampada Munde. “The person against whom we filed a case did not undergo a medical examination. Yet he claims that Munde conducted the medical. This is a political conspiracy,” he alleged.
This meeting in Phaltan has emerged not just as a political battle but also an emotional one. The fervent expression of supporters' faith, Nimbalkar's direct challenge, and the exchange of accusations have intensified the matter further. Now, the state is keenly watching which direction the investigation and subsequent political developments will take. However, one thing is clear: the political scene in Phaltan has heated up, and this battle is sure to become more intense.
