A surge was seen in gold and silver prices in the Indian market. Silver prices rose by ₹1619, while gold prices also increased by ₹609. The price of 24-carat gold without GST increased by ₹609 to ₹126,666 per tola. Meanwhile, the price of 22-carat gold per tola including GST is ₹119,506. The price of 18-carat gold per tola including GST is ₹97,850.

Gold prices continue to rise

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, February futures gold prices rose by ₹647 to reach ₹128,314. Similarly, silver prices also saw a rise of ₹1,485 on MCX. With this increase of ₹1,485, the price of one kilogram of silver reached ₹167,472. In the international market, gold prices have been rising for the fourth consecutive month. Since then, the price of silver has fallen by ₹13,814.

The price of 18-carat gold saw an increase of ₹458. The rate of this gold is ₹95,000 per tola. Including GST, this rate reaches ₹97,850. Meanwhile, the price of 14-carat gold saw a decline of ₹357. The rate of this gold per tola is ₹74,100, and including GST, it has reached ₹76,323.
