The results of the highly contested and much-discussed Mumbai Municipal Corporation election have finally been announced, and these results have clarified the major picture in Mumbai's politics. In this election, the grand alliance has secured a clear majority. The BJP has won 89 seats, earning the distinction of being the largest party, while Shiv Sena has secured 29 seats. As a result, the grand alliance has accumulated a total of 118 seats. On the other hand, the group led by the Thackeray brothers has won 71 seats, and the Congress has had to be content with 24 seats. Other parties and independents have together captured 12 seats. Due to these results, the entire state's attention is now focused on the upcoming mayoral election and the formation of power.

This includes names like Tejaswi Ghosalkar, Prakash Darekar, Mangesh Pangare, Sanjay Ghadi, Diksha Karkar, Ganesh Khankar, Yogita Patil, Aditi Khursunge, Sarika Zhore, Seema Shinde, Shweta Kopargaonkar, Shilpa Sangore, Milind Shinde, Pooja Mahadeshwar, Kishori Pednekar, Yamini Jadhav, Milind Vaidya, Snehal Tendulkar. Notably, the representation of female Marathi candidates has significantly increased this time.

The representation of the Gujarati community remained prominent in the business and middle-class areas of Mumbai this time as well. Candidates like Jitendra Patel, Neel Somaiya, Sandeep Patel, Himanshu Parekh, Dhaval Vora, Harsh Patel, Kesar Patel, Rohan Rathod, Gaurang Zaveri, Akash Purohit, and Rita Makwana have won. The Hindi-speaking and North Indian community has also demonstrated its strength in some wards. Candidates like Rekha Yadav, Rani Dwivedi, Shivkumar Jha, Swati Jaiswal, Mamta Yadav, Yogesh Verma, Siddharth Sharma, Divya Singh, Sudha Singh have secured their positions by winning.
Representation of the Muslim Community
In most wards of Mumbai, the representation of the Muslim community has also been significant. Candidates like Kamarjahan Siddiqui, Haider Ali Sheikh, Rafiq Sheikh, Zeeshan Multani, Saba Haroon Khan, Ayesha Khan, Rehbar Khan, Shabana Sheikh, Jameer Qureshi, Aamir Khan, Saman Azmi have won the elections.
