CM Devendra Fadnavis : I will not let chaos happen... What did Fadnavis say on the government's anniversary...?
Thanks and greetings to all the citizens of Maharashtra. A year ago, the people of Maharashtra blessed the grand alliance. Accepted the reins of the Chief Minister's post. Dedicating this year to the people of Maharashtra, I assure the people of Maharashtra that Maharashtra will continue to progress. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said while speaking about the government's anniversary that we dreamed that the drought we saw in 2015-16 should not be seen by the coming generation. Therefore, in the future, Marathwada will be seen as drought-free. Devendra Fadnavis also said that the current policy will have a major impact on the agriculture sector in the next four years.
This year's heavy rains and floods have troubled the farmers, causing massive damage. A package of 32 thousand crores has been announced. Efforts have been made to transfer a large amount of money to the farmers' accounts. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also said that we will continue to work like this until the farmers benefit.
Seven lakh pumps were installed in Maharashtra alone
I became the Chief Minister of the state in 2014. Faced severe drought for two years. On one hand, there was a water problem and on the other, an electricity issue. Sometimes during the day and sometimes at night, there were complaints of no electricity for farmers. Farmers said give us 12 hours of electricity. It is understood by the committee that the water level in Marathwada has increased. Due to the lack of electricity at night, there were many difficulties for farmers due to snakes and animals. Now the state is prosperous in terms of electricity. A letter has been issued to implement Maharashtra's plan in other states as well. Under Kusum, nine and a half lakh pumps were installed in the country, while seven lakh pumps were installed in Maharashtra alone, as informed by Fadnavis.
Next year, there should be 1 million pumps
Farmers did not pay bills before. Now, the opportunity to have electricity for 365 days and take three crops. This capacity was created due to the ecosystem. The pending payments are over, and we couldn't meet the incoming demand. However, Maharashtra, which used to install 20,000 pumps every year, has now set a world record by installing 45,991 pumps in one month. Pumps were installed within a month of the demand. By providing solar pumps to those who asked, a world record was made. We will break our own record. We have now reached seven and a half lakh. Next year, there should be 1 million pumps. Maharashtra is becoming the first state to create a separate electricity company for farmers, and solar power will be provided to farmers. Our farmers will become those who produce food and agriculture without any pollution, they also said.
Why can't you sleep at night?
We can't sleep at night because I want to do everything. There are many things we want to do for Maharashtra, Fadnavis has also said. Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar has said that a white paper should be issued, and while speaking on it, they all have a burning desire in their minds as to why they couldn't do so much for Maharashtra. Fadnavis also said at this time that we will not criticize them much today.
Set a new world record
Farmers were initially saying they wouldn't take electricity bills for five years. Then we said, what next? So if there is a solar pump, there will be no electricity bill for 25 years. This will also not harm the environment. We are going to reduce electricity rates every year. We are reducing by 3%. This is not just a world record but has set a new benchmark for the entire country and the energy sector, as stated by Devendra Fadnavis.
Prithviraj Chavan has dreams
Prithviraj Chavan, the Prime Minister of the country, has claimed that Modi will step down and a Marathi person will become the Prime Minister. Speaking on this, Devendra Fadnavis said that such dreams occur to him. The PM is doing very good work for the country and Modi will also be the Prime Minister in 2029, as clarified by Devendra Fadnavis.
