(Anjali Damania On Ajit Pawar) The controversial land plot case in Mundhwa took a new turn on Tuesday. Social activist Anjali Damania has directly demanded the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, openly challenging the government and administration. "If Ajit Pawar has any sense of shame, he should immediately resign from his position," she sharply criticized, also demanding a thorough investigation into the matter.

Went to inspect the land, but faced obstruction from the administration

Anjali Damania arrived at Mundhwa on Tuesday to gather information about the concerned plot. However, the officers stationed at the gate explicitly denied her access to the site. When she contacted senior officials, Damania alleged that they spoke in 'abusive language' and refused permission. She stated, “It is clear that this prohibition is under some pressure. But I will not leave this matter here. I will gather complete information and present the truth to the press tomorrow.”

Question mark over cancellation of sale deed

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar claimed to have canceled the sale deed of the Mundhwa plot. Damania directly questioned this statement, saying, “Who is Ajit Pawar to cancel the sale deed? Neither the Deputy Chief Minister, nor the ministers, nor even the Prime Minister have the authority to cancel a land transaction. If fraud occurs, only the court has these powers.”

She further stated that under Section 16 of the Specific Relief Act, if two parties have committed fraud, they do not have the authority to cancel the transaction. “Initially, it was said that the transaction would be canceled by paying 21 crores. Then the figure of 42 crores came forward. This is legally null, and if the government takes any action forcibly, I will directly challenge it in the High Court,” she warned.

“Resigned in the irrigation scam, why not now?”

Damania said, “After I accused him in the irrigation scam, Ajit Pawar immediately resigned at five in the evening. Today, the same person is the Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of Pune. So where has the sense of shame gone now?” She further raised questions about the administration. She mentioned that it is difficult to expect an impartial inquiry as the inquiry committee established by the government is mostly filled with officers from Pune.

Distrust in the committee, extreme demand for resignation

While suspicion is being expressed that Ajit Pawar's son Parth Pawar is caught in the Mundhwa land case, Damania's aggressive stance has made the situation more serious. She stated that many threads of information in this case are yet to be gathered and that many revelations will be made in tomorrow's press conference.

“If Ajit Pawar has any sense of shame, he should resign immediately,” demanded Damania, causing a stir in political circles. Due to the Mundhwa land issue, the political atmosphere in the state is heating up again, and political experts have predicted that new revelations may emerge in this matter in the coming days.
