Now, information has emerged that the company of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's son, Parth Pawar, sold land worth 1800 crores in Pune for just 300 crores after financial dealings with Jain Boarding in Pune. It appears at first glance that there were irregularities in this land transaction, as it was conducted on a stamp duty of only 500 rupees. After the opposition raised a ruckus over this matter, the government has now started taking action, and the Tehsildar has been suspended immediately in connection with the concerned land in Pune. There has been an uproar in the state's political circles as Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has issued these orders.
The case of Parth Pawar selling land worth 1800 crores for 300 crores has come to light. Notably, it was found that only 500 was charged as stamp duty in this transaction, after which Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed strong displeasure. He also stated that if there were irregularities in the transaction, it is wrong. If there are any irregularities, action must be taken, we believe, said the Chief Minister. After the Chief Minister indicated action at 12 noon, within just 2 hours, the tehsildars have been suspended in this case.
An inquiry committee will be established under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Vikas Kharge in the land case given to Parth Pawar's company in Pune. Prior to this, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered the immediate suspension of Pune Tehsildar Suryakant Yewale. As a result, there is a stir in the state's political circles. Now, it will be important to see what stance Ajit Pawar and Parth Pawar take on this matter.
Deputy Registrar Ravindra Taru Suspended
After the tehsildars involved in the land transaction case for Parth Pawar's company, Deputy Registrar Ravindra Taru has also been suspended. In this case, action has been taken by alleging that the registration was illegal. In the preliminary investigation by the Stamp Duty Department, it has come to light that Parth Pawar and his company purchased the prime and valuable 40-acre land in Koregaon Park, Pune, through an illegal transaction, deceiving the original owner and the government. Therefore, showing that this entire transaction appears to be completely illegal, Deputy Registrar Ravindra Taru in Pune has been suspended. This action has been taken by the Stamp Duty Department.
