Amravati News: Uncle and Nephew Die of Electric Shock While Inspecting Crops
In a tragic incident from Morshi taluka in Amravati district, an uncle and nephew lost their lives due to a severe electric shock while inspecting crops in their field. The accident occurred in the Asona farm area under the jurisdiction of the Shirkhed police station.
The deceased have been identified as Sanjay Baliram Bhuyar (55) and Pranav Ganesh Bhuyar (18), both residents of Nimbhi village. According to local sources, onion harvesting work was underway on the Bhuyar family's farmland, and the two had gone to inspect the crop.
The tragedy unfolded when Pranav attempted to start the electric motor in the field and suffered a powerful electric shock. In a desperate attempt to save him, his uncle Sanjay rushed to his aid but was also electrocuted. Both men died on the spot.
The sudden and heartbreaking loss has cast a pall of grief over the Bhuyar family and the local community. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the electric malfunction, and safety concerns have once again been raised regarding farm equipment and rural electrification systems.
