Narayan Rane : Indications of Political Retirement from the Stronghold of Konkan?

However, a statement made by Narayan Rane at a public meeting in Kankavli, Sindhudurg district, has sparked discussions in political circles. It is said that Rane has directly hinted at political retirement, and this statement has raised eyebrows among both supporters and opponents.
After the municipal council elections, Narayan Rane arrived in Sindhudurg. At this time, the workers of the BJP and Shiv Sena grand alliance welcomed him with great enthusiasm. The atmosphere in Kankavli was charged with celebration, slogans, and a show of strength. While addressing the gathering at the same meeting, Rane suddenly turned the direction of his speech towards a personal and emotional note.
“We have now decided, now to stay at home,” said Rane, hinting at withdrawing from active politics. He mentioned his simplicity, saying, “Narayan Rane still buys vegetables on the street. My car does not have tinted windows. It is not my nature to travel in cars with rings on my fingers and tinted windows. Humanity is my religion.” Referring to the conspiracies in politics, he said that there were difficulties before and there are difficulties today, but now there is no need to talk more about it.
Rane made an emotional statement about his children. “I will tell the children, live in harmony, nurture the good,” he said, indicating that he is entrusting the responsibility of future development to Nilesh and Nitesh Rane. “After me, Nilesh and Nitesh will carry out developmental work. Respond to their call,” he appealed to the workers.
Expressing gratitude for the victory in the Lok Sabha and the love of the people of Sindhudurg, Rane gave an important message not to give place to politics of hatred, anger, and selfishness, and to take care of the party. Due to this statement in the public meeting, the question has arisen whether he is really withdrawing from active politics. Although there is no official announcement, many feel that Rane's statement is indeed a hint towards political retirement.
