Railway Special Trains : IndiGo Airline Disrupted; Railway Rushed to Help
indigo newsCentral Railway has decided to run 14 special train trips and Western Railway has decided to run 35 trips through 7 special trains. Western Railway has mainly decided to run trains on the Mumbai-Delhi route, and Central Railway has decided to run trains from Mumbai to Delhi, Madgaon, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Gorakhpur.
Every day, millions of passengers from Mumbai travel to various parts of India for tourism and work, using both railways and airplanes. Although air travel is faster, officials have noted an increased preference for railways due to the current confusion in air travel. In this context, they mentioned that special trains have been planned from December 6. Western Railway has increased the number of third and second AC coaches in their four high-demand trains. The special trains on both railway routes will have AC First Class, AC Two-Tier, AC Three-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches.
