A major update has emerged regarding the Ladki Bahin Yojana, one of the popular schemes in the state. According to this update, it will now be mandatory for the beloved sisters to complete e-KYC for their husbands and fathers to avail the benefits of this scheme. As per the information provided by the state government, it has been made mandatory for the women beneficiaries of the Ladki Bahin Yojana to also complete e-KYC for their husbands or fathers to verify their annual income. If the income of the beneficiary woman's father or husband exceeds two and a half lakh, the concerned beneficiary woman will be deemed ineligible for this scheme.

The main condition for the Ladki Bahin Yojana is that the family's annual income should not exceed two and a half lakh. Currently, many women benefiting from this scheme have an income of less than two and a half lakh, but now the government will investigate whether the income of the father or husband exceeds two and a half lakh. A few days ago, it was made mandatory for women in this scheme to do e-KYC to verify their income. Now, the government has made it mandatory to do e-KYC for the father or husband as well.

This scheme was launched in the state before the assembly elections. At that time, all beneficiary women were receiving money from the state government without any conditions, but later, due to the immense financial burden on the state's treasury, the state government implemented several new rules for this scheme.
